Session - Building Resilience
Description: This session will offer a plain language presentation of situational and personal factors that influence the first responder’s ability to recover from exposure to traumatic and stressful situations. Since situational factors are oftentimes not under our control, strategies for increasing protective personal factors will be offered. These factors include cognitive, social, physical, and spiritual aspects of resilience.
