Linda Lupini was appointed Executive Vice President, PHSA and BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) in April 2014. In this role, Ms. Lupini has executive responsibility for all BCEHS services. Her portfolio also includes Virtual Health, Trauma Services, Mobile Medical Unit and Health Emergency Management BC. She was formerly Chief Human Resources Officer for PHSA, responsible for the overall strategic planning, management and delivery of human resource services. Ms. Lupini brings over 20 years of experience to the role, including 15 years with biotechnology company QLT, where she managed all aspects of human resources and facilities management, and MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates, a leading international software firm. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia.
Session Description: Leadership Breakout (emergency health focus) Linda will share her experiences and approach to mental health as a leader in emergency services. Afterwards, she will take part in a facilitated panel with Police Chief, Neil Dubord and a leadership representative from the firefighting community.
