Darrin Taylor

Darrin joined Edgewood Health Network Canada in 2019 after 14 years in private practice. He operated two addiction, mental health and occupational health clinics while working as one of Canada’s leading clinical interventionists. A graduate of Queen’s University, he is also a Certified Intervention Professional, a Master Therapeutic Counsellor and a Canadian Certified Addiction Counsellor. He serves on the Board as Ethics Chair at the Association of Intervention Specialists, and is a member of the Canadian Addiction Counsellor Certification Federation where he chairs the Interventionist Credentialing Committee. Darrin is a tireless advocate for recovery and improved access to addiction services in British Columbia. As an experienced Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) he has helped employers of all sizes develop, implement and manage policies to address the impact of substance use in the workplace.
